By this process pipes are manufactured in diameters from 20 to 200 inches, and in wall thicknesses from 0.250 to 4 inches. The process begins with the edge trimming of the steel plate to the required width. The pipe is formed by pyramid rolls to later be welded by the Double Submerged Arc Welding process. In the finishing area, the pipe is inspected and tested to guarantee the quality required by the client.

Tubular piles are tubular pipes used for piling purposes, which are also called steel piles, piping tubes,or tubular piling. Tubular piles are normally large diameter piles because bigger bending moment are required in lots of cases.
Tubular piling are available in numerous European and US steel grades and can be coated on request and are provided with C9 connectors. Steel piles are the main retaining elements of the combined wall, carrying horizontal loads from soil and water pressures and vertical foundation loads. The intermediary Z-type sheet piles transfer horizontal loads to the tubular piles.Piling tubes are manufactured in a range of materials, from standard carbon steel to high tensile steel, and in all thicknesses to suit specified design. Our piling designs are well proven in quay walls and as the backbones of floating structures. Wider applications include foundation works and construction pipes, industrial pipeline networks, communications infrastructure, and machinery.
The tubular combined wall not only service as the retaining wall member, resisting horizontal loads, but also serve as bearing pile which resist vertical loads. The OZ sheet pile can be shorter than the tubular piles and only have the functions of earth retaining and load transfer. Nowadays the interlocks used in the combined piles have many choices on the market, C9 C14 are the most traditional sheet piling accessory.Further fabrications, like piling shoes, lifting ligs, weld beads, beveled ends, corner sections, paintings...etc we can all do in our workshops.SGS or BV Inspection report is normally supplied.

Tubular Pile Classifications
Pipe piles are produced from different steel grade for wide applications, for
example, foundation pipes, king pile, monopile, bearing pile, pipe pile wall,
slope stabilization, pipelines, deep foundation, and struts etc. Depending on
the technology, tubular pipe can be classified as:Spiral Submerged arc Welding pipe pile (SSAW steel pipe)
Spiral steel pipe pile is most frequently used with sheet piles to form tubular combined wall because SSAW pipes can be easily produced in very long length without extra welding and in very big diameters. Spiral submerged arc welding pipes are the ideal options for pipe pile wall, steel pipe piles, with steel interlock for clutch to connect two adjacent pipe piles. Spiral welded tubular pipes are produced from steel coils, welded both internally and externally. The width of steel coils used for steel pipe sheet piles can be varied, but in API standard, the material width should be from 80% of the OD to 300% of OD) Pipe shoes are normally welded to piling pipe due to driving considerations. Weld bead can be applied inside. In lots of cases, spiral piling piles are painted for pipe pile walls.
Longitudinally Submerged arc Welding pipe pile (LSAW steel pipe)
LSAW pipe piles are produced from steel plates, so the single steel pipe pile length can be maximum 16m without extra splicing. While Long welded pipes can be very thick, up to 100mm.Almost all pile shoes are longitudinal pipes.
Longitudinal pipes can form with heavy pipe pile wall, with clutches, shear
rings, and other fabricated components. These steel pipes are typically used in pipelines for liquid or gas or oil and petroleum casings. LSAW pipe pile can also be used as king piles and steel pipe piling.
Pipe rolling is a manufacturing process that produces arc and curve shaped metal pipes. Some of the equipment used in this process include brake presses, box and pan brakes among other specialized machinery. Metal pipes created by this process are used to make rectangular ductwork and electrical enclosures.
In pipe rolling, a sheet of metal is positioned over a die block, which presses the sheet to form certain shapes. The sheet should be able to withstand tensile and compressive stresses. When sheets of metal are bent, they will spring back to their original positions. This means they should be bent at a certain angle to achieve the desired bend. The metal spring back is determined by the material and type of forming. Bending stretches the length of sheet metals to achieve a specific bend radius. The dies used as well as material thickness and properties determine this radius.
Types of Pipe Rolling Processes
There are three common pipe rolling processes each defined by the material thickness and end tool position. The three processes include bottoming, air bending and coining. Tools used in these processes are configured in a nearly identical pattern.
The tools include a die with a radiused tip to locate the inside profile of the metal bend. The tip of the die is called a punch. The punch is normally attached to the ram of a machine by clamps, which will produce the bending force. The dies are located under the material on the machine bed.
This pipe rolling method forms materials by pressing a punch into a metal sheet forming a V-die. The distance between the punch and side wall of the V-die is greater than the thickness of the material. Air bending uses smaller equipment than other pipe rolling methods because it requires less bend force.
The shape formed in the bottom die may either be V-shaped or have a square opening. Sets of top and bottom dies are made for each product produced in the press. Some of the tools used in major manufacturing processes are adjustable. This allows manufacturers to use different press-stroke depths to produce varying product profiles. Air bending is a flexible pipe rolling process because it allows different materials to be bent in varying angles.
The downside to air bending is that it is not as precise as other pipe rolling methods because the sheet does not come into full contact with the die. This is a significant factor because stroke depth must be accurate to avoid defects on parts produced.
In this process, metal sheets are forced against the bottom tool’s V opening. This process does not use U-shaped openings. Space is created between the sheet and V opening. This pipe rolling technique has various advantages, including greater accuracy and less spring back. But the disadvantage of this pipe rolling technique is that it requires different sets of tools for each bend angle, material and sheet thickness. However, this is the preferred pipe rolling method for many manufacturers.
In this process, the top tool forces the metal sheet into a bottom die with 5-30 times the force used in air bending. This force causes permanent deformation of the metal sheet eliminating spring back. Coining is a highly accurate, but sometimes expensive, pipe rolling technique.
Other pipe rolling processes include three point bending, folding, rotary bending, roll bending and wiping. Common materials used with these pipe-rolling processes include new plastic materials, aluminum and mild steel.
Steel Pipe Pile Walls
Steel pipe pile walls consists of a steel pipe and clutches welded on either side of the steel pipe. One SPSP is connected to the next one by interlocking their clutches. The most commonly used clutches are the P-P, P-T and L-T types.
Steel pipe piles can also be joined into continuous retaining walls by connecting them with conventional sheet piles as intermediate sections. These combined walls have enhanced resistance to vertical and horizontal loads compared to the conventional sheet pile sections. They can be used as quay walls, breakwaters, temporary cofferdams, retaining walls, bridge foundations, and other various civil engineering structures.
Steel pipe piles can be reinforced with pile shoes according to the specified bearing capacity and ground conditions.

ERW Pipe Piling
Electric Resistance Weld (ERW) pipe is manufactured through individual sheets or from rolls of skelp. It is normally produced in sizes from 2 3/8" to 24".
DSAW Pipe Piling
Double Submerged Arc Weld pipe (DSAW) is created through a welding process in which the welding arc is immersed in flux at the time of welding. Double welds (both inside and outside the pipe) are required to manufacture this pipe, and generally each weld is completed separately. DSAW pipe is normally produced in sizes from 24” through 56” OD and wall thicknesses from .312" through 2".
Spiralweld Pipe has a joint running along it's entire length in a spiral form. Due to the manufacturing process, a wide variety of diameters can be produced. The length range is infinite and is determined only by the customer's transportation budget.
ACCESSORIES | Pipe Piling
A chill ring includes a cylindrical non-consumable base metal ring having an outside diameter sized to fit adequately inside the diameter of the pipe end to be welded.
Conical points are used to push the earth aside and maintain grinding. On rough surfaces, the point distributes the load around the entire pipe, rather than focusing the shock on only a section.
A open-end cutting shoe is an exceptionally tough, heat-treated cast steel shoe with a ledge to ease driving. Use of a cutting shoe protects the pipe end and makes it possible to use a thinner pipe.
Pipe caps are available in all standard sizes ranging from 8 5/8" to 72".
Pipe piling splicers are available in all pipe sizes. Pipe splicers help ease alignment of pipe and drive it with no welding required.
