Internal Coating for Drill Pipe
  The production line of internal coating for drill pipe which is similar to that of line pipe and tubing has been improved based on the latest technologies. The internal coating for drill pipe has many good features including anticorrosion, flexibility, abrasion resistance, low flow resistance and son on, so that it can improve the flow efficiency of drilling fluid, prolong the life of drill pipe and reduce the cost of drilling.

Hardbanding for Drill Pipe Joint
  Hardbanding is used for the external surface of tool joint to improve the abrasion resistance of drill pipe and casing, reduce the friction between the tool joint and casing. Hardbanding can effectively protect the drill pipe and casing, prolong the life of drill pipe and casing and increase the security of drilling operation.

Specifications︰1.The drill pipe manufactured in accordance with API Spec 5DP, API Spec 7, and API RP 7G. The steel grades include E75, X95, G105, S135,and V150. The chemical composition of the steel is properly designed and strictly controlled. The special drill pipes such as anti-sulphur drill pipe, low-temperature drill pipe and high anti-torque drill pipe with double-shoulder tool joints (DSTJ).

2. Description
Quality Drill Pipe requires cutting edge equipment.
Our Drill Pipe product line is completely automated with equipment from Germany & the U.S., such as the Friction Weld machine, Hardbending Weld machine, IPSEN furnace and Siemans CNC Lathe.
The Tool Joints are made of AISI 4137H premium alloy steel fully Q&T with the IPSEN Furnace.
All the joints are inspected by Florescence Magnetic Particle and the Ultrasonic method. The pipe body goes under very serious inspection in conformance with API. 5D.
The welding between the drill pipe an tool joint is accomplished with the Friction Welding machine, the welding process is swift & steady under computer control. The weld zone is quenched and tempered through the Induction process which is computer controlled in real time.

3. Pup joint
We can supply pup joint, manufactured from the integral AISI 4145H alloy steel.

4. Carbide wear-resistant banding and internal coating
To increase the abrasion resistance and erosion resistance of drill pipe products in drilling operation, our company can provide wear-resistant banding and internal coating for drill pipes.
We can weld banding on the internal joint diameter of drill pipe and 18°shoulder of box according the API standard or your requirement. The types of banding include Tungsten Carbide, ARNCO 100XT、ARNCO 300XT and TCS.

The features are introduced as below:

1. The residual elements such as sulphur and phosphorus are strictly controlled in the pipe body and tool joints material during the steel making process, which makes the kind of material with high physical properties.

2. Heat Treatment is a decisive process in the production of tool joints and pipe body. Heat treatment must be uniform and deep enough to ensure required physical properties full length, especially in the critical sections of the connection and weld zone. Heat treatment programs are established on the basis of the actual chemical analysis of each heat of steel to ensure the materials meet or surpass the requirements of API Specification.

3. The drill pipe undergo a full-length inspection that checks the defects; especially the strict inspections on weldneck/upset region are preformed with our both manual and automatic inspection equipments to ensure the high quality.

4 The thread is the most important factor for drill pipes. All threads would be machined with CNC Lathes and inspected with related thread gauges in conformance with API Specification. All threads would be phosphated or copperized and the roots are cold rolled to improve the resistance of galling during initial break-in and drilling operation. Upon the customer’s request, The Break-in process is conduced to economize the rig handling time. All Connections would be equipped with pressed steel or plastics steel thread protectors.
